Is Pskov State Medical University NMC approved?

Pskov State Medical university is a good university though, but as per the recent notification by Consulate Genral Of India,st. Petersburg this university is not accredited with russian authorities. What the concerned notification says, 

“In response to several queries received concerning the Pskov State University, Pskov, Russia, the students may note the following:-

(I) The Pskov State University is not yet duly accredited with the concerned Russian authorities; (ii) The students may, therefore, exercise due diligence in considering admission in this university or continuing their studies there; and (iii) The students may also be cautious in dealing with the Educational Consultants who approach them for admission in this university.”

Thus if it is not accredited by russian authorities then there no chance for NMC approving it. Pskov State Medical University is not good option for Indian students now though Russia as a destination to study MBBS is still tops the list and there are many good medical universities for Indian students in Russia which are not only NMC approved but also affordable and known for their fine quality education with more focused on  practical training and practice.
