Legal procedure

Non-residents entrepreneurs either take 100% owenrship or 49% depend on nature of business and investment capital. For example, RM 1 million is required for 100% foreign owned companies on the other hand, RM 2000 is enough instead of 1 million if one Malaysian partner avilavle in the company (who own 51% shares). All foreign national entrepreneurs must register SDN BHD (limited liability) company as enterprise and partnership company are restricted. 

Cost of business setup

RM 3000 is expected cost to complete a Sdn Bhd company registration including the services of company incorporation, bank account open, company secretary services and provide business address. 

 

Licensing 

As law of the country, other licenses are not required than company incorporation to start a business unless business activities are retail, wholesale and manufacture. In additional, signboard, Halal, WRT and export import license are required subject to business activities. 

Taxation

17 &seventeen) percent is corporate tax rate in Malaysia. 

Visa application 

Visa is not changed if register any company and become a director after company incorporation unless follow the guidelines.
